CMB Magnetic bearings Clearaudio ceramic magnetic bearings are manufactured from an exclusive new ceramic alloy, allowing a much finer polished surface than that previously obtainable in turntable bearings. As the bearing does not use a ball bearing nor a thrust pad of any kind, the Clearaudio Ceramic Magnetic Bearing avoids any point of load and so eliminates bearing friction, wear and noise.

Clearaudio Magnetic Bearings (CMB) can be obtained in three ways:

• The CMB bearing can be bought as an additional product.
• The CMB bearing can be exchanged with the old bearing. Exchange will be happen in the Clearaudio factory. The old bearing must be shipped back to Clearaudio. After receiving the exchange bearing, a credit note will be issued.
• The CMB bearing can be ordered together with the new turntable.
